Amelia Reed (D'Urso), the owner and founder of Amelia's Nannies, offers over 10 years of expertise in the childcare industry.  From nannying in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky to nannying in one of the most elite nanny capitals of the world, NYC, Amelia has done it all.  She has gone from full-time live out and live-in positions to traveling domestically and internationally with families to provide professional care.  Childcare has long been an integral theme in her life.  She started professionally nannying while attending The University of Louisville as she obtained her bachelor's degree in English.  While nannying, Amelia continuously kept up with child rearing techniques, developmental patterns, sleep training, child nutrition, teaching methods, and more.  Since moving back to Louisville, KY she recognized a need for quality childcare.  Having been a nanny herself for all of these years she knows what a huge impact a nanny can have on a family and visa versa.  It made sense to Amelia to create a business where she could connect educated, professional, loving, and caring nannies with the amazing families here in Kentucky.
